About the Role: Reporting the Head of HR, this is a great opportunity for an L&D specialist to have a direct impact on site performance and culture. You will lead all learning and development activities across a fast-paced, chilled foods manufacturing environment and your key responsibilities will include: Developing and implementing L&D strategies, programmes, workshops, e-learning, and other training. Working closely with managers across the site, evaluating development needs and putting effective plans and strategies in place and supporting them as they work to improve their teams. Leading, coaching, and developing the site training team. Continuing to develop our approach to agile training. Leading the site apprenticeship scheme Working with the Divisional Head of L&D to develop and implement training projects and initiatives. Liaising with external training providers. About You: Prior experience in an L&D leadership role in a manufacturing environment, with food production being preferred. Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing L&D strategies and improving learning outcomes. People management experience, able to lead and develop teams. Experience of successfully using a wide range of delivery methods such as classroom training, e-learning, workshops, on the job training, coaching and mentoring. Excellent interpersonal skills, able to influence and engage with colleagues at all levels. Highly organised, able to plan and prioritise a busy workload.
