You will be working for a leading contractor delivering maintenance and refurbishment works across a portfolio of secure prison facilities throughout the North West. Due to an increase in workload and ongoing framework agreements, they are looking to appoint experienced Joiners on a long-term temporary basis.
Due to the nature of the work, all applicants will be required to undergo enhanced security clearance and vetting before starting on site. This includes background checks and identity verification in line with Ministry of Justice requirements.
Your new roleCarry out internal and external painting and decorating tasks.Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, and finishes to a professional standard.Ensurepliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Work collaboratively with other maintenance staff and prison personnel.Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.What you'll need to succeed
Experience in painting and decorating mercial or public sector preferred).NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating or equivalent (desirable).Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.Ability to work independently and within a team.Willingness to work in a secure environment.Must pass enhanced security clearance.What you'll get in return
