HGV Class 1 Artic Tipper Drivers Wanted - Sheffield
The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Artic Tipper Drivers for a fantastic Temp-to-Perm opportunity based in Sheffield.
We are looking for ready-made, tipper-trained drivers who are happy to tramp a minimum of 4 nights per week.
Location:
Sheffield, Yorkshire
Pay Rates & Hours:
* £16.30 per hour
* Overtime after 45 hours paid at Time & Quarter
* Saturday work paid at Time & Quarter
* Guaranteed 45 hours per week
* Typical working week: 65-70 hours
* £25 night out allowance per night
The Role:
You'll be driving modern bulker tipper vehicles, including Scania, Volvo and DAF trucks, transporting materials between sites while providing excellent customer service.
Vehicles are fully equipped with fridge and microwave facilities for nights out.
No two days are the same, making this a varied and rewarding role with the opportunity to regularly meet new customers.
Full training is provided, including:
* 2-day induction
* Ongoing support and development
✅ Requirements:
* HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Tipper experience/training preferred
* Minimum age 25
* At least 1 year of driving experience
* Maximum 6 penalty points
* Flexible and professional approach to work
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
