Role Overview
As a Trainee Senior Care Assistant, you will receive comprehensive training and support from our experienced team.
* Developing your skills and progressing to a senior role
* Assisting with daily activities of living and personal care
* Creating a warm, supportive environment for residents
Main Duties
* Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalised care
* Administering medication in line with prescribed requirements
* Lead, supervise, support, and develop the care team
* Communicate effectively with external professionals, residents, and relatives
* Implement personalised care plans tailored to each resident's needs
* Provide specialised care and support for residents living with dementia

Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in social care
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (mandatory)
* Compassionate, reliable, and patient
* Willingness to learn and progress within the role including undertaking a level 3 qualification

Penwortham Grange provides 24-hour residential care for 44 residents, while Penwortham Lodge offers dementia support for 42 residents.
