Mobile HGV Technician – Newcastle upon Tyne
Salary: Up to £41,496 (basic + overtime). Hours: Monday to Friday, full time.

Responsibilities
* Attend customer sites and roadside locations to diagnose, service and repair commercial vehicles
* Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance
* Diagnose and repair faults across engine, transmission, braking, suspension and electrical systems
* Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
* Complete repairs to manufacturer and company standards
* Accurately complete job cards, service reports and maintenance records
* Provide excellent customer service while representing the business professionally
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety requirements
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, Mobile HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
* Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
* Experience using modern diagnostic equipment
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Full UK Driving Licence (HGV licence advantageous but not essential)
* A proactive approach and commitment to delivering high‑quality work
