<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Health and Safety Manager Castleford Permanent £50,000 - £60,000</p><p>Health and Safety Manager required by a growing provider of technical services to work between sites in Blackburn and Castleford and also on site with clients across the UK. The successful Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for driving high standards, ensuring compliance, and strengthening safety culture across engineering and project delivery teams.</p><h3>Main Duties</h3><ul><li>Provide health and safety leadership across multiple sites across the UK</li><li>Write risk assessments and method statements and approve construction phase plans</li><li>Conduct site audits and oversee corrective actions</li><li>Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions</li><li>Maintain policies and procedures to comply with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001</li><li>Deliver health and safety inductions and training</li><li>Support internal audits to maintain ISO 9001 compliance</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent</li><li>Previous experience of auditing to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards</li><li>Background in a similar role ideally gained in a construction, facilities management, engineering or equivalent environment across multiple sites</li><li>Outstanding communication and leadership skills, ability to influence and make changes</li><li>Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to meet the needs of the business</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Company vehicle or car allowance</li><li>Private medical scheme</li><li>Life insurance</li></ul><p>If you are already a Health and Safety Leader, EHS Manager, QHSE manager you may also be suitable for this role.</p><p>Please contact Anna Hinton 01453 (url removed)</p><p>Omega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.</p><p>Omega does not charge candidates any recruitment or job‑seeking fees at any stage of the hiring process</p></div>
