Key Responsibilities
* You will provide effective support and advice for the efficient administration of a high quality, accurate and responsive People Services function for People Services colleagues, managers, employees and candidates, in accordance with local, statutory, legislative and contractual obligations.
* This includes a primary focus in provision of support and administration of the complete recruitment process to deliver a customer focused service. You’ll support the talent acquisition team with hiring manager, employee and candidate enquiries providing advice and guidance on the recruitment process and all relevant policies, procedures and practices.
* You will proactively manage the progression of any recruitment activity, highlighting any delays or issues with the People Services Operations Team and Talent Acquisition partner, and work closely with wider teams to ensure the successful transferring of candidates from the recruitment stage to the onboarding stage.
* You’ll build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders and colleagues and provide support to the on-going development of recruitment systems and procedures to ensure statutory compliance and contribute to continuous service improvements.
* You will also be key support for both training and learning and development activities across the organisation. Providing administration for organising and booking courses with internal and external providers, maintenance of employee records and the provision of advice and information upon request.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* You’ll have previous experience of working in an administration, business or office support role, within in an HR or recruitment environment. You’ll have an effective approach to problem-solving, adapting to changes in circumstances with a methodical approach with good attention to detail.
* You will have the ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders with strong organisation and time management skills. You’ll have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise your own workloads, and work under own initiative to ensure deadlines are met.
* You will have prior experience of working with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or other recruitment/HR systems with the knowledge of, and ability to apply safe recruitment practices. You will have proficiency in MS office packages, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
