Responsibilities
* Lead and manage an engaged and motivated team of Advanced Support Workers delivering a person‑centred service supporting two individuals with learning disabilities.
* Promote independence, wellbeing and choice in a warm, welcoming home.
* Provide guidance and oversight to ensure the safety and quality of life of people who present behaviours requiring intensive support planning and management.
* Guide the team to deliver high‑quality, consistent care and support in line with Community Integrated Care’s values.
* Drive performance, set the pace and direction within services, and ensure that services are appropriately and effectively resourced.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3) plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
* Experience working with people who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management.
* Comfortable using basic IT systems (training will be offered).
Location
Penrith, Cumbria – a large bungalow adapted into two separate flats. The home includes a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, secure fenced garden, on‑site parking and free parking outside the home. It is within 10 minutes walk of the town centre, next to the Lake District, and close to local bus routes and the train station.
