Location: 72 Outram Street
At Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield, we are a leading provider of Community Complex Care, proudly supporting adults to live independently with dignity and purpose. This role involves live‑in, 1:1 support for a gentleman living with Cerebral Palsy and asthma in the NG17 area of Kirkby –in- Ashfield. The successful applicant must have a clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work. Working hours include long social visits on a consistent rota, including Saturdays and Sundays.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the client’s mental wellbeing, independence and daily living needs, including cooking and serving meals and basic domestic tasks.
* Engage in community activities, conversations around sports and other interests, and social outings.
* Assist with maintaining personal appearance.
* Provide companionship while living within the client’s home.
* Build professional and respectful relationships with the client, family and external care professionals.
* Provide emotional support and encouragement.
About You
* Experience working with a person with Cerebral Palsy preferred but not essential.
* Empathetic, professional, punctual and committed to providing high‑quality care.
* Able to form strong, professional boundaries while offering emotional and practical support.
* Hold a clean UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work.
* Interested in developing or enhancing skills in the care and mental health sector.
* Willing to work weekends and follow a consistent shift pattern.
* Caremark Mansfield & Ashfield cannot offer a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) to applicants.
