Standard working hours would be 09.00 till 17.00, Monday to Friday. However, during busy periods, the successful candidate will be required to work weekends, evenings or night shifts as required from event to event. An overtime structure will be available.

We now have the opportunity for a Trainee Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work with the wider technical and warehouse team under the leadership of the Hire Manager.
This is a challenging role with plenty of scope for future career development in a fast growing company in the events industry. The role would be ideal for someone looking to enter the industry or for someone with existing experience working in a technical or warehouse environment looking for an interesting career change into a different sector.
Duties
* Work on site rigging / de-rigging for events, setting up and operating audio, lighting and video systems under the supervision of the Project Managers.
* Loading / unloading of vans and trucks as required.
* Undertake deliveries to site when required.
* Prepping and De-Prepping equipment for hire.
* Checking in equipment returned from hire using Current RMS rental management software.
* Assist with Service, Repair, Cleaning and Maintenance of Fixtures and Equipment.
* Assist the warehouse team with the upkeep of the warehouse / workshop equipment.
* Ensure company facilities are kept clean and tidy, assist with day to day operations.
* Fitting asset labels and branding to equipment and data entry into rental management system.
* Assist in manufacturing cable, parts and products using production, workshop and CNC facilities
* Ensure all company equipment is kept in pristine condition and uphold the companies exceptional standards and attention to detail.
* Complying with the companies paperwork process to create hire agreements, undertake risk assessments and job paperwork.
* Complying with company health and safety procedures.
* Assisting all departments in all aspects of the day to day company operations as required.
Person Specification
* Excellent attention to detail and high self-motivation
* Excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability and drive to deliver great customer service.
* Ability to work as part of a team and solo under own initiative, with great teamwork skills
* Good time keeping.
* Ability to problem solve work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Physical ability to undertake manual labour required for the position.
* Flexibility and a can-do attitude.
* Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is an advantage but not essential.
* Knowledge of Sound, Lighting and Visual systems and their applications is an advantage but not essential.
* Full UK Driving License is required.
* Forklift Truck License an advantage but not essential and training will be provided.
