Maternity Cover - Band 5 to 6 Radiographer CT & MRI

University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is based across the Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals. This role is primarily based at the Bournemouth site, near the new trauma centre.
This is a fixed‑term post, offered to UHD employees as a secondment in line with the Trust's Secondment Policy.
Role responsibilities include performing a wide range of CT and MRI scans across orthopaedics, neurology, cardiology, oncology and other specialties. The team supports the 9 Canon CT scanners, and the Siemens, Philips and Esaote MRI scanners.
Applicants may work flexible hours ranging from 7 am to 8 pm, with shared night shifts and coverage of weekends and bank holidays.
Applicants must hold HCPC Registration.
Candidates with prior CT or MRI experience may apply directly as band 6; those requiring additional training may start as band 5 with training provided.
Qualifications and Experience
* DCR or BSc in Radiography
* Current HCPC Registration
* NHS experience or equivalent
* Postgraduate qualification in CT or MRI
Personal Attributes
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work within a team and autonomously
* Knowledge of multi‑slice CT techniques and principles, and/or expertise in MRI physics and its application to new techniques
