Job Description
We are looking for a Youth Club Manager to lead and develop an established youth club in Hastings, East Sussex. The role is a permanent, full‑time position with a salary of £31,668 per annum and a reference number of V-109759.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating safe, engaging, and inclusive activities that cater to young people while championing their voices within the community. You will oversee daily operations, manage safeguarding duties, and build strong partnerships with local schools and organisations.

Key Responsibilities
 * Oversee daily operations ensuring a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for young people.
 * Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, managing safeguarding processes, case reviews, and referrals.
 * Design, deliver, and evaluate a wide range of activities that inspire participation and personal development.
 * Champion young people’s voices within the community, ensuring active participation in shaping projects.
 * Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations, schools, and networks to expand opportunities.
 * Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, record‑keeping, and reporting.
 * Contribute to funding bids and support the sustainability of youth programmes.
 * Collaborate with colleagues to support the wider mission of the organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
 * Extensive experience in youth work, with a youth work qualification or equivalent.
 * Proven ability to design, develop, and manage youth projects or programmes.
 * In‑depth knowledge of safeguarding, including the Children Act.
 * Experience handling complex cases with resilience and professionalism.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage young people and build positive relationships.
 * Strong organisational and administrative skills, including budgeting and reporting.
 * A genuine passion for social enterprise, youth empowerment, and community‑led projects.
 * Desirable experience in writing and securing small‑scale funding bids.
