About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves leading automation projects, delivering control system engineering solutions, and ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of automation and control system engineering projects.
* Develop and review system design documentation, including FDS, Software Requirements, and Test Procedures.
* Oversee system testing activities and ensure successful project execution.
* Manage interfaces between engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate closure.
* Support project audits and lessons-learned reviews.
* Contribute to process improvements and standardization of engineering solutions.
* Work closely with global teams to ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years’ experience in automation engineering, with a focus on PLC and HMI/SCADA systems.
* Experience with PLC programming and SCADA platforms.
* Strong understanding of software development processes, testing, and quality standards.
* Experience delivering projects on a small to medium scale.
* Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
* Ability and willingness to travel internationally as required.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with supply chain support or procurement in engineering projects. xsngvjr
* Familiarity with interface management and cross-project standardization.
