At Dearne Hall, we’re opening a brand-new, fully equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen, and we’re searching for an experienced Chef Manager to lead our catering service for 48 residents.
This is the perfect role for someone who loves cooking with fresh ingredients, enjoys creating nutritious menus, and wants a better work–life balance than traditional restaurant roles.

6. Leading and developing the kitchen team
7. Preparing high-quality, nutritious meals for older adults
8. Designing menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients
9. Catering for dietary needs, allergies and texture-modified diets
10. Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
11. Ensuring a smooth, well-organised kitchen operation

17. Experience as a Chef Manager, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar
18. Background in care home catering, education catering, or high-volume cooking
19. Strong leadership and organisation skills
20. Passion for fresh food, nutrition, and great service
