Contracts Manager | Electrical & Compliance (Social Housing Focus)
📍 Location: Banstead, Surrey (Primarily office-based)
💰 Salary: Up to £57,000 per annum, plus company van and fuel card.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager to join a leading electrical services and compliance business. This is an excellent chance to lead critical social housing contracts and drive operational excellence within a growing company.
The Job Role: Leading Compliance & Delivery
You will be the primary lead on assigned contracts, taking direct, day-to-day responsibility for our teams of qualified testers and electricians. Your core responsibilities include:
* Team Leadership: Directly manage and mentor electricians and testers, ensuring high performance and productivity on your contract.
* Resource Management: Ensure the correct allocation of parts and resources to enable your team to complete scheduled works efficiently.
* Performance Delivery: Ensure the successful delivery of all contract KPIs and client requirements.
* Operational Excellence: Maintain strong internal communication across the entire team to guarantee smooth workflow and operational excellence.
* Compliance: Uphold and enforce correct compliance procedures and standards throughout the team and across all contracts.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised leader with excellent communication skills who is ready to take ownership of key contracts.
* Experience: Previous experience in a similar leadership role, such as: Contracts Manager, Project Manager, Site Manager, Field Supervisor, or Senior Contract Manager.
* Industry Knowledge: While electrical experience is desirable, it is not required if you possess strong previous experience working within the Social Housing sector.
* Coordination Skills: Strong coordination skills, with a proven ability to lead and organise people effectively.
* Client Management: Confident working directly with customers and clients to build a constant line of communication and be able to execute precisely on expectations.
