Service Manager - Heavy Plant & Equipment / EarthmovingAn opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager to join a leading name within the Heavy Plant & Equipment sector offering an excellent package and career advancement.What's On Offer:Development opportunitiesComprehensive benefits and employer paid premiums from day one23 days annual leaveIncreased rate pensionIndustry leading OEM trainingPhone & laptopThe Role:Oversees the day-to-day management of the Sales Support functions and staff ensuring all team members understand and deliver on targets.Supports with the management of logistics providers to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods from factories / customers / depots as required.Monitoring performance targets, improving systems and response times and effective budget and cost management for the department.Liaising with the After Sales facilities and Workshops to ensure customer satisfaction levels are maintained.Responsible for facilitating the purchase of non-Liebherr third party items to fit machines.Responsible for new machine invoice and delivery targets on a monthly basis.Ensures annual stock forecasts and planning are in line with business objectives to meet stock volume.Liaises with finance department to ensure payments are received and processed accurately and in a timely manner.Cross department collaboration to understand forecasted orders and estimated delivery of machines to ensure a smooth process.Ensures all spreadsheets and databases are maintained by the team to ensure accuracy for management reports.Responsible for maintaining workflow, SLAs, tracking of metrics and departmental reporting.Responsible for ensuring the team are maintaining and creating machine files.Contributes to the commercial strategy for the overall sales department.Ensures compliance with the Company and operation policies and procedures is adhered to.Provides reports and updates to Management as requested. Supports and attends trade shows as required including assisting in the set up of company presence at such events.Evaluate operational procedures to ensure continuous development and efficient operations within the department.Formulate, develop, and monitor customer service KPIs.Keeps up to date with machine developments and industry trends.Communicate and act in a manner that promotes a positive image of the company.Takes responsibility for self-development and continually identifies ways of improving management and leadership style.Participate in training courses as requested.Any other duty as required by management commensurate with the post.About You:GCSE grades A- C (or equivalent) in Maths and EnglishIs able demonstrate competencies and skills for the role through experience in a similar role or industryData analysis and report creationSmart and well presented Team playerOutstanding communication skills and can demonstrate how this has been used effectively in a team environment Flexible approach to work Ability to use own initiativeAble to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environmentAttention to detailExcellent organisational skills and being able to prioritise through effective time managementProficient in use of MS Office and CRMsGood numeracy skillsExcellent commercial acumenBe able to travel UK & Ireland as required to support business requirementsTo be able to travel overseas as requiredKeep up to date on technical skills and knowledgeAttends training as required Desirable: experience within a construction plant / OEM environment
