Please note: You will be expected to take a flexible approach and potentially commute outside of your specified borough. Travel within our Mileage policy is covered.
Role Details
* Salary: £12.60 per hour
* Contract Type: Bank
* Hours of Work: Bank worker – hours varied: 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday as required
* Location: Home-based with travel around the Peterborough area (live in Peterborough area; full driving licence and access to own transport required)
Responsibilities and Requirements
* Independent Advocate Requirements: Strong communication and time management skills to successfully work remotely. Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; ability to learn software such as client management databases. Attention to detail to ensure accurate recording and reporting to meet deadlines.
* Desirable: Previous experience in advocacy, information and advice, or a similar role within health, social care, or the voluntary sector. Demonstrable experience working with vulnerable adults. Working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations.
