Virtual SEN Teachers are required for a secondary school based in the Morpeth area which we are working with as a company. The school have a short term need for additional community teachers to the end of the academic year.
This role involves working both in the community and on our school sites to teach pupils who are unable to attend school due to mental health difficulties. This will involve supporting them to engage with tasks, including academic work, and build positive relationships with staff. The aim is to build confidence, resilience and trust to help pupils return to school.
The teacher needs to be able to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils to deliver their bespoke programme of support. They need to be able to develop and build positive working relationships with pupils and their families and other members of the community teaching team.
This full time role will be to start in June 2025 until July 2025. This secondary school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

Please note that the rate of pay will be dependent on where you are on the National Teacher Payscales and the level of experience that you have to date.
