We are looking to recruit an Energy Adviser with relevant knowledge and skills to deliver a reactive Energy Advice Service. The post is funded by the Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme until 31st May 2028 and will be managed by Southside Housing Association. The service will be available to other Housing Associations in Southside Glasgow and to the Glasgow South Carers service.
The successful candidate will:
* Assist vulnerable and excluded households and facilitate access to fuel support services for under‑represented groups
* Work to reduce fuel poverty, fuel debt, promote digital and financial inclusion, and financial resilience
* Educate clients on efficient heating use and recommend energy‑efficiency measures
* Collaborate with the existing Welfare Rights and Money Advice Service and other community support services to ensure a holistic person‑centred approach
* Adapt to competing pressures, demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, and be eager to learn
* Use IT packages competently
* Hold a valid driver’s licence; access to a vehicle for work use is desirable
