The Role: Science Teacher
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The school offers excellent resources, a collaborative Science department, and plenty of scope for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Science lessons
Inspire and motivate students to develop a love of Science
Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
Contribute to curriculum development within the Science department
Play an active role in the wider school community
Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
Experience teaching at secondary level (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
A passion for inspiring young people and raising attainment in Science
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
