Overview
We are looking for a HGV Driver/Warehouse & Yard Operative to join us at PDM Edinburgh!
This role is 7.30am-4.30pm Monday-Friday
PDM are Scotland’s leading supplier of Civils, Above Ground and Multi-Utilities products. Operating across our network of 10 branches in Scotland, we pride ourselves in our technical, knowledgeable, and loyal staff who located at all our depots, can provide technical assistance in offering best advice and solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities
* Provide an efficient and dependable delivery service to our customers
* Build great relationships with customers out on the road and represent our brand
* Keep up to date with all Health & Safety legislation and administration relating to your role (tachographs, training, delivery notes etc)
* Look after our vehicles, carrying out appropriate checks on a routine basis
* Serve our customers in the yard/warehouse, providing knowledge of the best products for their projects
* Support with incoming deliveries, ensuring stock in the yard & warehouse is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements
We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team. We can give you plenty of training and equip you with the tools that you’ll need to succeed as an HGV Driver/ Warehouse & Yard Operative; however you will need a Class 2 HGV driving licence to be able to drive our company vehicles.
