About the Role
Get Further is an award-winning charity tackling educational inequality. As a Lead Tutor, you’ll deliver impactful tuition to small groups (1–3 students) using our ready-made resources—while mentoring fellow tutors, supporting quality delivery, and driving student progress.

What You’ll Do
🧑🏫 Deliver weekly maths or English tuition (80% of role)
🤝 Coach and support Flex Tutors through peer mentoring and session observations
📚 Help develop resources and contribute to tutor training
📈 Track student attendance and progress
📣 Champion Get Further’s mission onsite with students and staff
What We’re Looking For
✔ Commitment to tackling educational inequality
✔ Excellent communication & mentoring skills
✔ At least 3 months' prior experience tutoring or teaching
✔ GCSEs (C/4+), A-Level (B+), degree (2:1 or strong 2:2 considered)
✔ Min. 15 hrs/week availability (with 11am–12pm free Fridays)
✔ Right to work in the UK
✔ Ability to travel to placement locations (some may require access to a car)
