Job Description As an Intervention Specialist, you will: Deliver planned interventions to pupils working below age-related expectations Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to identify needs and monitor progress Adapt resources and strategies to maximise impact Support pupils both inside and outside the classroom The Ideal Candidate Will Have recent experience delivering interventions in a primary setting Understand the national curriculum (especially English and Maths) Be confident in adapting resources and teaching strategies Be organised, proactive, and able to use initiative Hold a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience) Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply through Teaching Personnel Transport Links Gateacre is well-connected to Liverpool and surrounding areas: Bus: Direct services (75, 76, 78, 81, 217) run frequently to Liverpool city centre and nearby areas.
