This is a hyrbid role based out of Royal Mail Farringdon 3 days per week.
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for shaping the future of a major UK business? We’re looking for a Strategy Manager to join Royal Mail’s central strategy team. This high-impact role supports the development and execution of long-term strategic plans across Royal Mail and Parcelforce, helping to drive transformation and sustainable growth.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy Development, you’ll work across all functions to refine the organisation’s strategic direction. You’ll support cross-functional projects, produce high-quality materials for executive decision-making, and help translate functional strategies into a coherent business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support development of Royal Mail’s 5–10 year strategic agenda
• Scope and initiate strategic workstreams across the business
• Conduct detailed analysis of financial, operational, and market data
• Evaluate new opportunities through modelling and scenario planning
• Prepare compelling presentations for the CEO and Executive Board
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and consistency
About You
You’re a collaborative and analytical strategist with experience in consulting or industry. You bring a data-driven approach, strong stakeholder engagement, and a passion for delivering results in complex environments.
What You’ll Bring:
• Experience within consulting and/or industry experience
• Strong strategic, financial, and commercial acumen
• Experience leading high-value strategic projects and influencing senior stakeholders
• Excellent modelling, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance or similar; MBA desirable
• Passion for logistics and transformation (experience desirable)
