Working Hours: Monday-Friday (Day Shift)
* Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:30
* Fri: 07:30-14:00
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair faults on a wide range of machinery and plant equipment.
* Carry out preventative maintenance in line with scheduled plans, including cleaning, lubricating, adjusting equipment, and updating maintenance records.
* Perform safety checks and risk assessments, implementing actions to minimise hazards.
* Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment performance.
* Ensure safe systems of work are followed at all times, including COSHH requirements.
* Work collaboratively to coordinate maintenance activities and resolve technical issues.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance plans and progress.
* Identify opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
* Promote safe working practices, following procedures and wearing appropriate PPE/RPE.
Requirements
* Completion of a recognised trade apprenticeship or a relevant engineering qualification with suitable experience.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Conscientious, hard‑working, flexible, and safety‑focused.
* Excellent problem‑solving ability, good interpersonal skills, and capable of working to tight deadlines.
