The Role We are seeking a HR Data Analyst on a permanent, full-time basis working from our impressive manufacturing facility in Shirley. As HR Data Analyst, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and optimisation of our HR systems. You will partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights, improve processes, and ensure our people data is accurate, secure, and effectively utilised. You will also support planning and data strategy activities, helping the business make informed decisions through effective people data management, forecasting, and reporting. This role is a 5-day-a-week onsite presence. Duties/Responsibilities Manage and maintain the HRIS database and optimised systems, including data entry, user access, and system configuration Develop and maintain reports, metrics, and dashboards to support HR and business decisions Support workforce and data planning activities through the analysis of headcount, turnover, recruitment, absence, and other people metrics to identify trends and forecast future business needs Partner with HR and business leaders to support strategic workforce planning, organisational design, and resource planning initiatives Assist in developing data governance standards, data definitions, and reporting frameworks to improve consistency and quality across HR data Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, troubleshooting, and system testing Analyse and improve HR processes, workflows, and system capabilities to support strategic initiatives and business objectives Provide training and support to HR and other users on HRIS features and functionalities Maintain data privacy and security policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to integrate HRIS with other business systems Support the development of long-term HR data strategies, including data migration, system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in HRIS, workforce analytics, and related areas Personal Specification Bachelor's degree in HR, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field 3–5 years of experience in HR systems management, HR analytics, or data administration Strong technical proficiency with HR systems, data analysis tools, and reporting tools Experience supporting workforce planning, forecasting, or data planning activities would be advantageous Knowledge of HR processes and practices, data privacy, and compliance regulations Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills Ability to interpret and present complex data in a clear and meaningful way Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines Rewards of working for Norton: We like to take care of our Nortoneers and we think we offer some pretty decent rewards.
