Key Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance to develop and maintain process control documentation Raise non-conformance reports and coordinate resolution Verify the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventative actions Lead targeted development and improvement activities Plan and conduct process audits on-site and at suppliers in the UK and potentially internationally Participate in and represent Quality in problem solving investigations Identify and develop improvements and cost savings internally and with suppliers Report on Quality performance and support the assessment of new and existing suppliers Ensure that Part Approval requirements are communicated to suppliers and are received, reviewed and approved in a timely manner Key Requirements: Relevant experience in a quality-focused engineering or manufacturing role Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Audit experience (ISO9001 preferred) and a solid understanding of quality tools such as FMEA, 5 Whys, SPC, Control Plans, etc. UK driving licence and passport, with flexibility to travel as required Salary & Benefits: £36,000 to £40,000 (depending on experience) 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Free parking How to Apply: This exciting Quality Engineer opportunity is being managed by Consortium Professional Recruitment, a trusted recruitment partner.
