The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme supports exceptional students from developing and emerging economies to pursue fully funded graduate studies at the University of Oxford. It combines financial support with a comprehensive leadership development programme.

The scholarship is open for a wide range of Master’s degrees in fields such as:
* Public Policy (MPP)
* Global Governance

* Biodiversity, Conservation and Management
What the Scholarship Covers
1. 100% Tuition Fees – Full coverage of Oxford University’s graduate course tuition.
2. Living Stipend – At least £19,237 for a 12-month period.
3. Travel & Visa Assistance – Contribution toward pre-arrival costs such as visa fees and travel expenses.
4. Leadership Development – Enrollment in a prestigious leadership programme which includes:
o Seminars
o Mentorship
o Networking events
o Training in ethical leadership, public speaking, and policy development
Eligible Countries
Applicants must be ordinarily resident in one of the eligible countries, which includes:
* Pakistan
* India
* Bangladesh
* Nepal
* African and Latin American countries
* And other emerging or developing nations
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify:
* You must apply for an eligible graduate course at Oxford.
* You must intend to return to your home country after graduation and contribute to its development.
* You should demonstrate a clear link between your course of study and your long-term career goals in public service or development.
* Academic excellence and leadership potential are essential.
* You must not have previously studied at a graduate level at a university in a developed country (in most cases).
Important Deadlines (for 2026 entry)
* Course Application Deadline: Typically early January 2026 (usually 7th or 14th January depending on the course).
* Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Statement: Must be submitted along with your graduate application by the same deadline.
How to Apply
1. Apply to Oxford: Select a course eligible for the scholarship.
2. Funding Section: In your Oxford application, select “Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Programme” in the scholarships section.
3. Statement Submission: Upload a separate “Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Statement” (around 500 words) with your application.
4. Interviews: If shortlisted, you may be invited to a virtual interview (typically around March–April).
5. Final Decision: Award notifications usually come by May.
