An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health Care Support Worker based at Woodland View.
Ward 1 is a busy 30 bedded General Older adult rehabilitation ward. You must have a genuine interest in the rehabilitation process and be pro-active in achieving best outcomes for our patients. Experience in providing care for older people is desirable but not essential. Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You should have excellent communication skills, have the enthusiasm and ability to provide therapeutic interventions to enhance the rehabilitation process by providing person centered goals and individual care for each patient.
You should have an awareness of relevant legislation, policies, standards, best practice statements, guidelines and capability frameworks. You should be able to provide evidence of personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
