Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Special Educational Needs School in the North Birmingham area that is looking to appoint new SEND support staff with experience in Autism, PMLD, Complex Needs, and associated challenging behaviours.
The positions are for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term bookings. We are seeking individuals with experience working with pupils with SEMH & SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. As a Learning Support Assistant (care or residential support experience will be considered), you will work alongside the class teacher and other staff to support pupils in daily school activities. You may need to support children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, ensuring they are motivated, happy, safe, and engaged.
The school caters to children with a wide range of needs, including Autism, MLD, PMLD, SLD, and SEMH complex needs, from KS1 to KS3.
The school values its staff and students highly. It is a large school with excellent facilities and many support staff, all committed to a strong work ethic.
We are eager to speak with SEND support staff, care workers, residential support workers, and SEND Teaching Assistants with SEMH experience. If you feel this role is suitable for you, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing or calling 07903 719108.
