We are working with a well-established logistics business to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop their transport operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily transport planning and operations
* Manage fleet and driver performance
* Deliver against operational KPIs and budget targets
* Ensure compliance with tachograph and WTD regulations
* Drive continuous improvement across the operation
* Lead and develop operational teams
Requirements:
* Proven experience in transport or logistics operations management
* Strong background in general haulage or container logistics
* Solid understanding of transport compliance and regulations
