We’re recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a well-established, family-run engineering company experiencing strong growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a close-knit team where you’ll work alongside experienced engineers and report directly into a highly knowledgeable Lead Technical Engineer.
This is a workshop-based position working on a wide range of heavy plant and machinery, where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in:
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults
* Working with electrical systems and schematics
* Carrying out welding and fabrication work
* General maintenance, servicing, and rebuilds of heavy equipment
* Contributing ideas to improve processes, efficiency, and performance
You’ll be working as part of a team of 4 engineers in a business that genuinely values input and encourages continuous improvement.
We’re keen to speak with engineers who have experience in heavy-duty environments, such as:
* Heavy plant / machinery
* Agricultural engineering
* Construction equipment
* HGVs, industrial equipment, or similar
You’ll ideally have:
* Strong mechanical engineering experience
* Ability to read and work from electrical schematics
* Welding and fabrication skills
* A proactive, problem‑solving mindset
* The ambition to grow and develop within a business
OEM backgrounds are very welcome.
