Our client, a reputable national multi-site automotive accident repair group, is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their busy and friendly centre in Swindon. Competitive salary up to £54,600 per annum (£21 per hour), with an increase following successful completion of a 6-month probation period

Modern, clean working environment prioritising staff support and growthDuties of a Panel Beater:
Replace and repair damaged or compromised bodywork panels accurately and efficiently
Conduct chassis and framework repairs to industry standards
Assess vehicle damage precisely and determine suitable repair techniques
Perform bumper and door repairs as needed
Complete all panel beating and repair works to meet internal quality standards and third-party requirements
Work collaboratively within a team to ensure the centre’s operations run smoothly and safely
Assist with light Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim (MET) work where requiredRequirements of a Panel Beater:
Proven experience as a Panel Beater, with recent or current relevant employment
Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent are preferred; however, candidates with at least three years of practical, on-the-job experience will also be considered
Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Effective team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
UK driving licence with minimal points
