General Science Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing role starting September 2026

Teach General Science across relevant secondary year groups
Deliver well‑structured, engaging science lessons in line with curriculum expectations
Support practical and theory learning through clear instruction and safe lab practice
Maintain consistent behaviour routines and positive classroom environments
Adapt teaching approaches to meet a variety of learner needs
Assess progress and provide constructive verbal feedback
Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfareIdeal General Science Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Science
Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at KS3/KS4
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Able to motivate and support pupils of mixed abilities
Good organisational and communication abilities
Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality science teaching
