An established and growing construction consultancy is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support senior commercial staff across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to both pre- and post-contract duties. The Role
* Assisting with cost planning, budgeting and feasibility studies
* Supporting procurement processes, tender preparation and analysis
* Assisting in the administration of contracts (primarily JCT)
* Monitoring project costs, variations and change control
* Supporting valuations, interim payments and final accounts
* Preparing cost reports and financial updates
* Working closely with project teams and stakeholders to support successful delivery
The Assistant Quantity Surveyor?
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Previous experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role
* Understanding of JCT contracts and commercial processes
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and organisational ability
* Ambition to progress towards chartership (RICS or similar)
