Duties & Responsibilities:
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain existing and new customer relationships to achieve the companys sales target.
5. Be the first point of contact for incoming customer sales calls, you will provide excellent customer service
6. Ensure all customers have a good understanding of products, features, and benefits and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently
7. Provide quotations and process orders, keeping customers informed on their order progress and expected delivery dates
8. Record sales conversion rates
9. Actively seek and identify new sales opportunities and convert into new business
10. Monitor sales to ensure customer retention and repeat orders
11. Visit customers and attend trade shows as required
Candidate Profile:
12. Experience of working in a customer service and sales environment
13. A proven track record of achieving sales targets
14. Knowledge of pumps features, pump selection and spare parts
15. Experience of working in manufacturing/engineering environment
16. A working knowledge of ERP systems
17. The ability to interpret technical drawings
18. Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills
19. A relevant qualification, e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2&3
