About Our Client
Our client is a growing construction company seeking a dedicated professional who will be responsible for overseeing projects from pre construction through to final account, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Job Description
3. Pricing and managing variations under contracts
4. Preparing and submitting detailed cost breakdowns
5. Managing the variation log and change control process
6. Assessing and agreeing subcontractor variations
7. Monitoring project budgets and cost reporting
8. Negotiating with client-side QS and consultants
9. Contributing to final account preparation and agreement
10. Managing day-to-day project delivery
11. Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
12. Monitoring programme and site progress
13. Chairing progress and coordination meetings
14. Managing client communication
15. Identifying and mitigating project risks
16. Ensuring compliance with health & safety requirements
The Successful Applicant
A successful Administrator should have:
17. Proven experience in a PM / Administrative role in the construction industry
18. Exceptional excel skills
19. Strong numerical / maths skills
20. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
21. Valid UK driving licence
22. Proven experience managing cost variations
23. Experience running construction projects independently
24. Strong negotiation and communication skills
25. Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
