Our Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join Thales Underwater Systems (UWS) providing technology to enhance and secure the future of our world leading Sonar Capability to Royal Navy.
You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of the MHC Block 2 Project and for achieving project objectives. MHC Block 2 programme is a significant domestic programmedelivering World First Capability for Mine Hunting, using autonomy and artificial intelligence for the end user
You will have experience in Project Management with a good understanding of project management capabilities to be applied - giving rigour to change control, commercial awareness and stakeholder management, together with successful management of the relationship with internal and external key UK customers
The role requires strong leadership, professional project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management, team building skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and managing risks and opportunities.

About You:
You will have a proven track record of delivering successful projects in a complex, multidisciplinary, multi-site organisation together with:
* Full business lifecycle management, including capture, qualification and developing capture plans and winning strategies.
* Comprehensive understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities (for example; WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies, EVM).
* Comprehensive experience and understanding of the Project Management process (including Change Control, Risk Management and Information Management).
* Comprehensive experience and knowledge of the project life cycle for complex projects through delivery of Development, Implementation, Closure and Support activity.
* Experience of working across boundaries, including knowledge of commercial management, best practice supply chain and finance functions.
