Do you have experience of working alongside people with learning disabilities? Are you passionate about making sure their voices are heard and valued?
Borders Care Voice is looking for a Local Citizens Panel Development Worker to join our team in the Scottish Borders. In this rewarding role, you’ll:
1. Support people with learning disabilities and their unpaid carers to share their views and shape local health and social care services.
2. Work closely with members of five Local Citizens Panels (LCPs) across the Scottish Borders.
3. Help to ensure people with learning disabilities and their carers are represented, heard, and included in decision-making.
You’ll need to be comfortable travelling across the Borders, and there may be occasional evening or weekend commitments. Due to the rural nature of the area, access to a car is preferred. The role is fixed-term for 18 months, with the possibility of extension.
