Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, self-sufficient sales professional who can contribute immediately to business growth.
The role will involve selling the full portfolio of packaging, print and mailing solutions, with a focus of approximately 60% new business development and 40% account management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities
2. Manage, nurture, and grow an existing portfolio of customer accounts
3. Conduct client meetings to understand requirements and present tailored solutions
4. Actively source and convert new opportunities across a diverse product range
5. Apply effective sales strategies to maximise revenue across the packaging division
6. Build strong, long-term commercial relationships to drive repeat business and sustainable growth
Requirements
7. Proven experience selling commercial print, packaging, and/or mailing solutions
8. A proactive and positive sales approach with strong industry connections
9. Demonstrable ability to build and maintain long-standing client relationships
10. Strong commercial awareness and confident negotiation skills
11. Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively
12. Excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
13. Self-motivated, well-organised, and target-driven
