Job Title: Financial Accountant

Our client, an established consultancy, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant for a 12 month FTC. This is a hands-on role supporting with financial controls, reporting and annual audit and would be an excellent first role out of practise. Starting early January 2026.
Description
The responsibilities of the Financial Accountant role include, but are not limited to:
* Providing support for full month-end close, inter-company postings, accruals, prepayments and journal entries
* Oversight of AR and AP teams, providing support where needed
* Preparing financial statements for the Group and multiple entities, perform P&L and balance sheet reviews
* Bank reconciliations and responsibility for FX revaluations
* Support on external audit, along with any ad-hoc financial assistance
Skills
The skills of the Financial Accountant role include, but are not limited to:
* Recently Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP and accounting principles
* Experience within audit or a professional services business is highly advantageous
* Proficient in Excel and Microsoft D365
* Proactive, organised and confident working in a fast-paced environment with a strong eye for detail
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
