*Whilst this role is hybrid, you will be required to go to the Cardiff HO once a fortnight for a couple of days*
We are excited to announce an opportunity for an Estates Surveyor to join a prominent high street fashion brand. In this role, you will play a crucial part in negotiating lease agreements and conducting rent reviews, while ensuring that all lease obligations are met. You will work closely with Senior Management and Directors to ensure that property-related decisions are in harmony with the broader business goals.
A flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to travel across the UK will be important, as will your ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic retail fashion environment.
Some responsibilities:
1.Undertake the property management of a portfolio of shops
2.Monitor lease key dates and undertake rent reviews and lease renewals in a timely manner
3.Negotiate consents and permissions from 3rd parties (Landlords etc)
4.Ensure any disputes between Landlords and Tenants are resolved promptly with the minimum disruption and cost to the business
5.Liaise with other departments to resolve operational issues quickly and efficiently with the minimum disruption and cost to the business
6.Challenging and monitoring service charge statements and demands
7.To take responsibility for securing refunds or overpayments from third parties
8.To understand the commercial objectives of the company and to have a flexible approach to the working hours and a willingness to travel the UK
9.Checking invoices from Landlords to ensure accuracy, challenging where appropriate.
