The Role
As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of the young people we support. Working as part of a close-knit team, you will:
* Provide consistent care and support to children with varying needs.
* Build positive, trusting relationships that promote emotional wellbeing.
* Support children with daily routines, education, and recreational activities.
* Follow care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
* Promote independence, resilience, and positive outcomes for each child.
* Ensure safeguarding and welfare is at the centre of your practice.
* Work closely with colleagues, managers, and external professionals.
What We're Looking For
* A compassionate and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children.
* Experience in residential childcare or a related care setting (preferred but not essential).
* A willingness to undertake mandatory and specialist training.
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
* A full UK driving licence (preferred).
* An enhanced DBS check (to be completed if not already held).
