About the Team
At Skibo, housekeeping is about more than just changing sheets and dusting - it's about creating a welcoming, home-from-home experience for our members and guests. This dynamic team is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness across the estate, from keeping castle bedrooms and family lodges looking pristine to polishing the woodwork in the front hall and handling dry cleaning requests.
Porters are key to providing the exceptional service that makes our guests' arrival and departure seamless and stress-free.
About this Role
As Housekeeping Porter, you will:
* Handle and care for our guests' luggage both on arrival and departure, ensuring everything goes to the right place.
* Support the Club's welcoming ambience by setting the fireplaces, delivering members their morning newspapers as well as any parcels and letters addressed to them, and assisting yourcolleaguesin Housekeeping behind the scenes by transporting linens, keeping stores in order, and handling recycling.
* Pro-actively respond to any requests from our members and guests and go the extra mile to ensure their needs are met.
Who We Are Looking For
* You're friendly, enthusiastic and enjoy meeting new people.
* You can work unsupervised and use your initiative in a conscientious and dependable manner.
* You're a team-player and enjoy working alongside colleagues in what can be a fast-paced environment.
* Ideally you have some experience in a venue such as a guest house orhotel, but ifnot don't worry – our team will be happy to help you with your training.
* You're willing to learn and take direction.
* Essential for this role are clear and legible handwriting, the flexibility to work varying shifts, and a full, clean driving license.

Gratuities (tips) that are passed directly to staff are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of their role.
