Join Our Team as a Speech Pathologist!
Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of students? A K-12 school in Derry, NH is excited to invite qualified speech language professionals to apply for two positions: one full-time and one part-time (3-4 days per week), with the potential for both to become full-time. This is a contract role for the school year starting on August 28th, 2025.
Position Overview
As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting our diverse student population. Your expertise will help students overcome challenges related to speech and language, enabling them to thrive in their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
* Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in groups.
* Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
Position Details
* Work Hours: 8:05 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. (32.5 hours per week)
* Caseload: Approximately 46 students from pre-kindergarten through grade 8.
* Student Needs: Disabilities range from articulation and social skills challenges to autism spectrum disorders requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
* One SLP will facilitate weekly group sessions in pre-kindergarten and kindergarten classrooms and support students on 504 plans.
Qualifications
* Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in New Hampshire.
* Experience with pediatric caseloads, including articulation, social skills, and AAC systems.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage caseload independently and collaboratively.
* Willingness to conduct group therapy sessions and work with students on 504 plans.
