The Directorate
This is an exciting opportunity to become a member of our vibrant and forward-thinking newly established Teaching Excellence team in the Directorate of Student Experience and Teaching Excellence.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality, administrative support for Teaching Excellence and the Academic Experience service, the wider Directorate and the University.
If you are a collaborative team player, well-organised, and committed to providing excellent administrative support, we would like to hear form you.
What you will be doing:
1. Support the work of the Teaching Excellence team, and wider Academic Experience areas supporting the academic development and training needs of Faculties, providing administrative support for educational development and quality assurance processes.
2. Provide administrative support for committee and/or meetings; preparation of agenda, takings minutes/notes and coordinating the follow up actions.
3. Work with the Teaching Excellence Team to coordinate and organise the Professional Practice Programme sessions and workshops.
4. Provide support for the Bradford: Fellowship Scheme, coordinating sessions, maintaining records and tracking the progression of the participants using university systems.
Qualifications/ experience:
5. Level 2 qualification, such as GCSE grades 3,2,1 or grades D, E, F, G or equivalent experience.
6. Experience working in administrative role.
7. Experience of taking minutes/notes and providing information at meetings.
8. Experience of organising and co-ordinating meetings/events/workshops.
9. Experience of using a wide variety of IT packages.
