Customer & Sales SupportRespond to customer SeaFreight inquiries regarding rates, transit times, and service options (air, road, and multimodal). Sea Import experience essential, export advantageous.Prepare and issue accurate freight quotations based on carrier tariffs, internal guidelines, and profit margins.Follow up on quotations to convert leads into bookings.Assist the sales team with pricing, presentations, and customer-related documentation.2. Coordination Between DepartmentsLiaise with operations, sales, and customs teams to ensure proper handling of customer shipments.Work closely with carriers, agents, and service providers to gather rates and service details.Support the onboarding of new customers by coordinating with internal stakeholders.3. Commercial AdministrationMaintain updated pricing files, carrier contracts, and rate sheets.Record sales activities, customer communications, and quotation outcomes in the CRM system.Track and report on commercial performance metrics (hit rates, volumes, new business, etc.).5. Customer Relationship ManagementSupport account management by handling routine customer queries.Ensure customer satisfaction through prompt response and proactive communication.Escalate customer issues to the commercial manager when necessary.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain (typically 1–3 years).Strong understanding of international shipping (air, sea, road), Incoterms, and basic freight pricing.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems. Cargo Wise experience advantageousAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
