Ford Performance is seeking an experienced and motivated Sportscar Program Supervisor to join our Motorsports Engineering team. This role involves working across all Ford Performance motorsports sportscar programs, providing track-side support for factory and customer programs, and contributing to engineering and development efforts for current and future initiatives.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in a professional motorsports environment.
* Detail-oriented, self-starter, and problem solver.
* Competitive spirit with a strong interest in professional motorsports.
* Practical knowledge of race cars and sportscar competition.
* Strong leadership and effective communication skills.
* Team player capable of working with multiple suppliers in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
* Flexible with extensive travel, including weekends, and must hold or be eligible for a passport.
Preferred Qualifications
* Master’s degree in relevant engineering fields.
* Experience in vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and vehicle development.
* Proficiency in logged data analysis for track performance improvement.
* Experience with Bosch Motorsport, Motec, Cosworth hardware/software.
* Experience with vehicle instrumentation setup.
* Knowledge of GPIRS and Ariba/Aurora systems.

Responsibilities
* Regional Representation & Relationship Management: Represent Ford Performance at sports car events, develop relationships with racing entities, and support in-region program management.
* Trackside & Technical Support: Provide support at racing events, oversee operations, and lead technical issue resolution, including systems engineering support.
* Series Representation & Engagement: Represent Ford at FIA TWGs and series meetings, provide engineering input, and interpret regulations for GT3 and GT4 classes.
* Engineering Development & Analysis: Support testing, conduct data analysis, and support development activities.
* Reporting & Tool Development: Create metrics and reports, and develop tools to support engineering and racing teams.
