The position is full-time (37 hours per week) with a permanent contract, offering 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement local transport policies and plans through corporate and partnership collaborations.
* Prepare and monitor the Local Transport Plan to meet policy outcomes.
* Review and suggest improvements to transport policies or strategies.
* Develop infrastructure delivery plans and formulate funding bids.
* Manage projects and supervise staff, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Degree level education with relevant professional qualifications.
* Deep understanding of transport policy, legislation related to Highways and Transport, and familiarity with transport models and assessments.
* Experience in partnership working and multi-agency collaboration.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in transport planning software.

Salary and Application Details
The salary is Grade 9, ranging from £40,476 to £44,711 per annum. Interviews are scheduled for 21st July 2025.
