Cover Supervisor - Grammar School (Medway)
Location: Medway Start Date: ASAP Contract: Until the end of term Pay Rate: £120 per day
The Role
We are seeking a confident, adaptable, and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a well-established Grammar School in the Medway area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands‑on classroom experience in a high‑performing school environment.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and on task. No planning or marking is required.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising classes during teacher absences
* Managing behaviour in line with school policies
* Delivering set work and ensuring students stay focused
* Providing support and guidance where needed
* Building positive relationships with students and staff
Requirements
* Previous school-based experience is desirable, but not essential
* Confidence managing a classroom
* Excellent communication skills
* A positive, proactive approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
